KTR Blames Revanth for Farmers’ Suicides

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao expressed deep concern following the alleged suicides committed by farmers across the state in a single day on October 7. He blamed the suicides on the state government’s agricultural policy and scarcity of water for irrigation purposes.

Posting on “Farmers, unable to overcome the agrarian crisis caused by the Revanth government, are taking their lives one after another. The NCRB report recently concluded that farmer suicides have reduced by 96 per cent during KCR’s ten-year rule. With the Congress coming back to power, the latest death toll is raising concerns among farmer families,” he said.
