WB, ADB Inspect Environment Safeguards At Amaravati Projects

Vijayawada:Representatives of the World Bank (WB) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) expressed his pleasure to protect the environment while seizing infrastructure projects for the development of the Aaravati capital.
During his two -day visit on Friday, a delegation of WB and ADB examined various Environment and Social Government (ESM) activities.
Project Management Consultancy and Program Management Consultancy representatives made a briefing about the workforce welfare, security measures in construction camps and gender discrimination and child labor. WB and ADB team members expressed their satisfaction when making a few suggestions to further strengthen the system.
At the Apcrda office in Thulur, the authorities announced how land pooling programs (LPS) were successfully implemented to bank representatives. They also made consultations with the results of social inspections and citizen advisory groups.
Delegation members reviewed the complaint correction mechanism established to address petitions from farmers and agricultural workers affected by the development project.
Authorities were informed about how the complaints were systematically handled.
