Lalu Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav’s BIG claim, ‘people will get me killed’, gets Y+ security

While the Janshakti Janata Dal chief was in the fray against Sanjay Kumar Singh of the Lok Janshanti Party (Ram Vilas) of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and Indrajeet Pradhan of Jan Suraaj, his brother Tejashwi Yadav fielded Mukesh Kumar Raushan of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) against him.
Janshakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav’s security has been stepped up due to alleged threat to his life. He stated that he had “many enemies” trying to harm him. Yadav also wished goodwill and blessings to his brother Tejashwi Yadav by wishing him a happy 36th birthday.
Tej Pratap Yadav’s security is being increased
“My security has been increased as there is a threat to my life. People will get me killed. There are many enemies who are trying to get me killed,” Yadav told ANI. He also wished his estranged brother Tejashwi Yadav a happy 36th birthday and wished him a best and bright future. “It’s Tejashwi’s birthday today and I wish him all the best. I hope he has a bright future. He gets my blessings,” he said.
Tej Pratap Yadav contested the elections in Mahua seat, where voting was held in the first phase on November 6. While the Janshakti Janata Dal chief is in the fray against Sanjay Kumar Singh of the Lok Janshanti Party (Ram Vilas) of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and Indrajeet Pradhan of Jan Suraaj, his brother Tejashwi Yadav is in the fray against Mukesh of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). Kumar Raushan is against him.
On the polling day on November 6, Tej Pratap Yadav expressed confidence in winning, citing the approval of his parents Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi and public support.
Speaking to ANI, Tej Pratap Yadav said, “I am completely confident. I have the approval of my family and the public.” Tej Pratap Yadav was expelled from the Rashtriya Janata Dal earlier this year. He has since formed his own party called Janshakti Janata Dal and contested under his party’s Mahua banner.
Second phase of Bihar Election 2025
After historic voter turnout in the first phase of polls, Bihar is gearing up for the second phase of elections to be held in 122 Assembly constituencies on November 11. The NDA, comprising the BJP, JD(U), HAMS, LJP (RV) and others, is seeking to retain power for a second term. The Mahagathbandhan, comprising the Congress, RJD, left parties and VIP, is seeking to come back to power. Jan Suraaj, who is making his debut in the election campaign, is contesting alone in more than 200 constituencies. Legislative Assembly election results will be announced on November 14.
