Internet Blackout Hits Afghanistan as Taliban Enforce Morality Crackdown

Islamabad: An internet darkening hit Afghanistan on Monday and the local media reported a potential fiber optic services throughout the country as a part of the Taliban’s pressure on immorality.
For the first time since the Taliban seized power in August 2021, Afghanistan has experienced such a closure for the first time.
At the beginning of this month, a few states lost their fiber optic connections after publishing a decree that banned the service to prevent immorality.
