One dead and several injured as Danish train hits tanker and derails

Authorities, at least one person died and collided with a train tanker and in South Denmark after leaving the rail, he said.

The police said that the accident occurred between the towns of Tinglev and Kliplav in the south of Jutland, near the German border, and that a 60 -year -old woman died and 27 was injured.

Two of the five seriously injured people were in a critical situation in the hospital.

Local media reported that the train hit a slurry tanker used to carry farm wastes.

Police said that 106 people were involved in the accident. Among the settled passengers were students from a nearby Sønderborg, the intended arrival point of the train.

Police said that none of the students or two teachers were seriously injured with them, but was invited to go to school on Saturday to talk to a psychologist.
