Three Killed As Small Aircraft Crashes In Michigan’s Bath Township; Investigation Underway | World News

Three people were killed when a small plane crashed in Bath Township, Michigan, on Thursday evening. According to the statement made by the police, the incident occurred at around 17:00 at the intersection of Clark Road and Peacock Road.

Michigan State Police confirmed the deaths, stating that all three people on board were found dead at the scene. The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed.

The cause of the accident is not yet known. Footage circulating on social media shows the plane descending rapidly before the crash.

The crash scene was located between Peacock and Upton Roads in Clinton County and blocked all traffic lanes on Clark Road, authorities said. A major emergency response was quickly mobilized as multiple agencies arrived on scene.

Bath County Fire and Police and Michigan State Police responded to the incident. The police created a wide security strip around the area and closed the surrounding roads. Witnesses reported a significant police presence overhead, including a helicopter, fire trucks and at least one ambulance.

Clouds of smoke were visible from the crash scene as emergency crews worked to secure the area. The investigation is ongoing and authorities have not yet determined the circumstances that led to the crash.
