Last-ditch appeal for EuroMillions winner who has just hours to claim | UK | News

The owner of the winning EuroMillions ticket now has just hours to claim the prize as the deadline approaches. The National Lottery is urging players to double-check their tickets to claim the £1 million prize.

The owner of the unclaimed ticket has until midnight Wednesday to come forward. The National Lottery also announced that the winning EuroMillions Millionaire Maker ticket was purchased in 2019. The UK Millionaire Maker game gives UK players of EuroMillions the chance to win an additional prize of £1 million in every EuroMillions draw.

The National Lottery Commission changed the name of the game from ‘Millionaire Raffle’ to ‘UK Millionaire Maker’ in October 2014 as part of wider changes to the structure of the game.

There have been several cases where 100 players received £1 million.

Currently, the UK Millionaire Raffle draw, which took place on 27 July 2012, holds the world record for creating the most lottery millionaires in one night, with 97 out of 100 prizes claimed.

If no one comes forward to claim the prize by the deadline, the prize will help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Players with winning tickets in all National Lottery draws have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize.
