The owner of the winning EuroMillions ticket now has just hours to claim the prize as the deadline approaches. The National Lottery is urging players to double-check their tickets to claim the £1 million prize.
The owner of the unclaimed ticket has until midnight Wednesday to come forward. The National Lottery also announced that the winning EuroMillions Millionaire Maker ticket was purchased in 2019. Birmingham For the draw on August 15, 2025. Anyone who was in town on that date and purchased tickets is now asked to look for the winning code, VLPL 28287, along with draw number 1868. Andy Carter, Senior Winners Advisor at National Lottery operator Allwyn, said: “Were you in or around Birmingham in the week before the 15 August draw? Maybe not even a local winner – did you visit the area and play EuroMillions that day – did you return home and stash it somewhere safe?”
“I want nothing more than to connect the winner with the prize money. Tell your friends, check your pockets, check your tickets, it could be you.”
The UK Millionaire Maker game gives UK players of EuroMillions the chance to win an additional prize of £1 million in every EuroMillions draw.
The National Lottery Commission changed the name of the game from ‘Millionaire Raffle’ to ‘UK Millionaire Maker’ in October 2014 as part of wider changes to the structure of the game.
There have been several cases where 100 players received £1 million.

Currently, the UK Millionaire Raffle draw, which took place on 27 July 2012, holds the world record for creating the most lottery millionaires in one night, with 97 out of 100 prizes claimed.
If no one comes forward to claim the prize by the deadline, the prize will help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
Players with winning tickets in all National Lottery draws have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize.
