Late actor’s co-star says ‘you will feel…’

Recently, her co-star Rakesh Bedi spoke candidly about working with the actor.
Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away this month at the age of 89. He had been struggling with health problems for a while and was receiving treatment. He was also admitted to a hospital in Mumbai for a few days, sparking concern from fans and well-wishers. The Bollywood actor passed away a few days after being discharged from the hospital. Recently, her co-star Rakesh Bedi spoke candidly about working with the actor.
In a recent chat with NDTV, Rakesh Bedi said, “All I can say is that he was a bit crazy; there are no actors like him anymore. He cared about everyone; he cared about the unit. If you sit with him for 15 minutes, you will feel that he is your own person and he really cares about you. He always showered a lot of love on those around him.”
He continued, “He and I have done many films. There is one big film with him, a big hit. He and I played important roles in that film. It was called Dadagiri. Since then, I have worked with him in many films. The last film we did together was ‘Teri Baatein Mein Aisa Ulza Jiya’. One of the days when TBMAUJ was shot was my birthday. ‘I will order the cake,’ he insisted and the team said, ‘No sir, we will order it.’ Then we cut the cake together. He fed me and I fed him. “It was a very nice gesture from him.”
Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai earlier this month due to breathing problems. He was discharged from the hospital on November 12 after his condition improved. Doctors said that Dharmendra’s treatment will continue at home and there is nothing to worry about. The legendary actor passed away on November 24, a few weeks shy of his 90th birthday in December.
