Leave application of judicial officers of Kerala to be weighed against their performance

The applications of the judicial officers of the Kerala Regional Judiciary will be weighed against their professional performance.

On Monday, an office memorandum published by the record officer of the Supreme Court of Kerala (Regional Judiciary), from the judges of the main region and the chief judicial magistrates, “the percentage of reaching the target, the percentage of the performance of the old cases and the permission details in the last two years, while applying for permission applications, will apply more than other judges”.

He also argued that he would submit his words regarding the request of permission of the judges/chief judges/chief judges.

It is aimed to serve the circular as a deterrent to apply to the leaves that are legally acquired and acquired, which are appropriate to meet medical emergencies and familial commitments. These leaves are given in proportion to the number of services as well as a judicial officer foreseen in the Kerala Service Rules (KSR).

Since each civil servant makes a monthly statement about the disposal rate of each officer, the total flow of the cases, the cases waiting for more than five and 15 years, a monthly statement about the cases he has obtained by the target and higher courts, the judicial officials do not expect to evaluate their performance. In addition, another judicial officer said that annual statements were made.

The destruction of lawsuits depends on a number of factors such as the judge’s performance, the cooperation of court personnel and lawyers. It means a violation of constitutional rights by adding a driver to tax judicial officials alone and to benefit from the appropriate permission, a female officer.

KSR does not require a performance -related permission system for any government official. It does not bring such a system for other officials, including the Circular, Supreme Court of Kerala and the regional courts.

As repeated phone calls and messages remained unanswered, the attempts of the Supreme Court have failed.
