Legacy media covers Anthony Fauci diary by criticizing Donald Trump instead of Fauci’s dishonesty

Critics, Dr. Criticized Fauci’s claim of dishonesty on COVID-19 origins and quarantines
Senator Rand Paul, MD. accuses Anthony Fauci of “staggering levels of dishonesty” regarding the lab leak theory; Fauci has publicly rejected this theory. Alex Hogan details private COVID-era diary entries that contradict Fauci’s public stance on closing schools and masking activity, further raising questions about public health recommendations during the pandemic.
Senator Rand Paul recently dropped a major bombshell about Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Paul published a treasure trove of private diary entries and emails that Fauci sent to famous friends, friends, allied media figures or colleagues in epidemiology. There is an endless list of important takeaways from new information; specifically that Fauci repeatedly and deliberately engaged in dishonesty to get the public to comply with his policies and recommendations.
He realized that lockdowns were not working, that cases were fluctuating with no relationship to closures or mandates. After repeatedly denying he had anything to do with school closures, his diary revealed that he personally advised politicians in New York and California to close schools in 2020.
FAUCI RECEIVED LOAN PRIVATELY FOR COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS, DESPITE PUBLIC DENIAL, NEWLY ANNOUNCED LOG ENTRIES REVEALED
One of the most troubling is his quick admission that the coronavirus may have originated from gain-of-function research in the Wuhan lab. Making a lab leak not only possible, but probable. He publicly said otherwise to protect himself, his profession, and his research funds.

It is clear in many of his notes and emails that Fauci is an extreme narcissist. He’s obsessed with media attention, accolades, prizes paid, celebrity, and meetings with celebrities like Julia Roberts, Barbra Streisand, or Zoom dignitaries.
In fact, the famous “expert” was overcome with panic and fear when he realized that he might have contracted Covid-19 from a meeting where proof of vaccination was required for entry. Incredible considering that Fauci has relentlessly advocated for such policies and demanded that everyone get the mRNA vaccine to protect others. And this is indefensible, given that he has never accepted that vaccine passports are useless, potentially harmful policies, even though he has personal evidence of them.
Then there are notes on his relationships with influential media figures. He describes several dinners he and CNN’s Jake Tapper had together as part of their growing friendship. There is a note about giving interview questions to a guest who disagrees with him/her. He and CNN’s Dana Bash also appear to be friends.
You might think, then, that this drives a lot of the national news cycle in legacy media. After all, there are hundreds of extremely damaging new pieces of information that refute what Fauci has made public. Scandalous and journalistically inappropriate relationships with television presenters. It’s about statements that world-changing policy is based on nothing.
But this requires the legacy media to have some intellectual honesty, an interest in the truth, or a willingness to cover issues that make them or their party look bad. Instead, what we get is how Covered by USA TODAY The diary and emails, which are incredibly distorted and deliberately misleading, are not credible. Or so it would be if even a shred of honesty remained among the rags of their reputation.
FAUCI’S DIARY SHOWS THAT HE FRESHED QUESTIONS TO JOURNALISTS AND FORMED FRIENDSHIPS WITH MEDIA PEOPLE
In a new article covering the email release, USA TODAY decided to focus on Fauci’s criticism of then-President Donald Trump. Unsurprisingly, Fauci wanted to keep the country locked down indefinitely, while Trump correctly recognized that lockdowns were destroying the country and must end.

This is how their story begins.
“Dr. Anthony Fauci called President Donald Trump ‘out of control,’ ‘a real embarrassment,’ and ‘an idiot’ in his personal diary as the nation’s top infectious disease expert worked to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.”
Fauci, himself a malicious and dishonest fool, is treated as a hero in USA TODAY’s version of the event. USA TODAY notes that Fauci wrote on May 22, 2020: “Trump is spiraling out of control as he pushes to open the country and take back the economy before Election Day. He is desperate. This is all about re-election.”
That’s the majority of the article, with a few offhand references to Fauci’s narcissistic obsession with appearing on television. Fauci’s endless complaints about Trump and Republicans, surprise, surprise. Oh, and another article Defending Fauci, he quotes another far-left doctor from the Kaiser Family Foundation, who has a history of spreading dangerous misinformation on social media.
“Infectious disease expert and epidemiologist Dr. Celine Gounder told USA TODAY that the hearing had already become highly partisan. ‘There are some who will say this is about accountability for what happened during the pandemic,’ said Gounder, who is public health editor-at-large for news site KFF and writes the blog Underlying Conditions. ‘I think others will say it’s a witch hunt in terms of what comes out of Dr. Fauci’s diary.'”
What a shock. He defends Anthony Fauci, a liberal “expert” who lied about masks and other Covid policies. Who could have guessed?
No interest in contradictions, hypocrisy, inappropriate media company, dishonesty about lockdowns, lab leaks or masks. Fauci didn’t like Trump because Trump contradicted him. And he was right.

This is why the media has become what it is: a source of hand-picked information that is completely unreliable to convey the message they want to convey. And promote the political party they want to support. There is no intellectual honesty, no attention to accuracy or rigor. Just pure prejudice. That’s why their reputation and the public’s trust in these media organizations have never been lower.
But no matter how hard they try, they cannot change the truth. Anthony Fauci has repeatedly and deliberately misled the American people. That’s the real story, not some left-wing, discredited pundit disliking a Republican president who contradicts himself.
