Ley, media gets exactly what they deserved from exploiting Bondi

When Sussan Ley chose to politicize the Bondi atrocity to undermine Anthony Albanese’s political dominance, and News Corp and Nine newspapers egged her on in the hope of either doing the same or effecting some form of regime change, some of the consequences were predictable.

The first was that stricter gun laws would anger the National Party and require urban Liberal MPs to oppose such laws. Strong support in the community – or risk splitting the Coalition.
