‘Like a horror’: Gross scenes after $2m Sydney home left trashed, cleaners require hazmat suit for work

A $2 million house became a house of horrors for its owner after tenants trashed it so badly it became a house of horrors for the owner. professional cleaners were required to wear hazmat suits for the job.
The owners of a house in Baulkham Hills in Sydney’s northwest have finally managed to evict nightmare tenants who allegedly evaded inspections for months.
But the property was nothing short of a horrific mess, with images from 7News showing the extent of the damage.
The situation was so bad that a professional cleaner called in to deal with the mess had to wear a protective hazmat suit to protect against the odor and contaminants present.
“It was like horror. It was like I’d never seen before.” housekeeper Ashleigh Partsch-Isaako told 7News.
The professional cleaner had to be “fully dressed and wearing a mask” because of the odor and other hazards underneath all the trash.
The Tasmanian couple who own the $2 million home had already paid Ms Partsch-Isaako $4000 for professional cleaning but are now planning a restoration.

“When people invest in property in Australia, they often don’t take into account all the risks that may be associated,” Leo Patterson Ross, CEO of the NSW Tenants Union, told 7News.
“People who are currently renting this home may have difficulty finding a new home because this incident will be on their record.”
