US Department of Justice Reposts Trump’s Photo

Washington DC: The U.S. Department of Justice recently re-released a photo from the Jeffrey Epstein files featuring President Donald Trump, noting that no Epstein victims are depicted in the photo.
To protect victims, the Department of Justice temporarily removed the image for review after the Southern District of New York flagged it.

Previously, CNN reported that at least 16 files published in the Jeffrey Epstein documents set were removed from the website as of Sunday morning (local time).
One of the removed files included a photo of US President Donald Trump, CNN reported on Saturday.
The majority of other files that appeared to have been removed included sexually explicit artwork, mail slots full of envelopes, a tiled hallway and a notebook page with names and apartment numbers.
In a press release, the DOJ stated that it is committed to transparency and will only correct what is legally required. The Department is required by law to remove privileged material as well as identifying information about victims, minors, or potential victims.
The Ministry of Justice stated in the statement that no regulations have been made or will be made to protect famous people or politically influential people.
The Department of Justice has received requests from alleged victims and their attorneys to remove some information. The material will be temporarily removed for review and will be republished with appropriate corrections if legally required.
