Wild moment teenage trio arrested after alleged carjacking, police pursuit in Hampton Park

Dramatic footage has revealed the moment three teenagers were arrested following an alleged aggravated car theft in Melbourne’s south-east.
Police allege two boys, ages 17 and 16, and a 13-year-old girl were armed with knives when they approached a red Hyundai Kona on Blackwood Drive in Hampton Park shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday.
At that time, there were three people in the car, a 76-year-old man and two women aged 51 and 77.
The trio allegedly threatened the male driver and demanded his keys before fleeing with the vehicle.
Neither the driver nor the other two people were physically injured in the incident.
The Hyundai was tracked to the Dandenong area before allegedly getting into a red Nissan Dualis and dumping it on Heatherton Road.

Police chased Dualis through several suburbs along the Monash Highway before stopping on the Princes Highway in Pakenham.
Dramatic footage taken from the police air wing shows the moment the driver fell to his knees as the vehicle was surrounded by armed officers.
Three teenagers from the Casey area were arrested at the scene.

The 13-year-old girl and the 17-year-old boy were released on bail and charged with motor vehicle theft, handling of stolen property, fraudulent use of a regulation plate and theft.
The 16-year-old male was charged with driving without a licence, dangerous driving while pursued by police, using false license plates, burglary, handling stolen property and motor vehicle theft.
The suspect appeared in juvenile court on Sunday, where he was taken into custody and is expected to return to court at a later date.
