Liz Truss shares photo with Donald Trump: ‘Right about everything’

Liz Truss met Donald Trump at his home in Mar-a-Lago and shared the photo of that moment on social media.

Britain’s shortest-serving prime minister captioned the photo “he’s right about everything” as he stood smiling next to the US president, reaffirming his commitment to MAGA in the X photo.

President Trump has yet to address his interaction with the former leader on social media.

While Ms. Truss has expressed enthusiastic support for President Trump and the MAGA movement since his seven-week term in office in 2022, she has also blamed the “deep state” for the end of her own term as premier.

In December, he promised on his podcast that he would trigger a “Trump-style counter-revolution” against attacks on the free world: The Liz Truss Show.

“The deep state tried to destroy me, but now I’m back and I’m excited to start this show,” he said.

While visiting the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) last year in Maryland, He said his own country had “failed” while calling on Elon Musk and his “nerdy army of Muskrats” to investigate the “British deep state”.

He also called for a movement similar to the MAGA movement in the UK, claiming Britain needs its own version of Donald Trump.

During Ms Truss’s premiership, the pound fell to a 37-year low after the city was “scared” by a massive borrowing package to finance its biggest tax cuts for half a century.

The photo comes after President Trump faced allegations of racism for sharing a video depicting former leader Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama as monkeys, which was removed from Truth Social 12 hours after it was posted.

A senior White House official said a staffer “accidentally” shared it and the President refused to apologize, saying he “didn’t see everything.”

Mr. Obama broke his silence about the video in an interview with political commentator Brian Tyler Cohen. He replied: “First, I think it’s important to recognize that the majority of the American public finds this behavior deeply disturbing.

“It’s true that it draws attention. It’s true that it distracts. But as I travel around the country, as you travel around the country, you meet people; they still believe in decency, they still believe in kindness, they still believe in goodness.”
