Who is Kamla Persad-Bissessar?
Current Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar have the roots of ancestors in the village of Bhelupur in the Buxar region of Bihar. Kamla’s personal life
Kamla was 18 years old in 1971. She married Gregory Bissesar and was 22 years old. Later, they moved from England to Jamaica and they lived for 14 years. In 1985, he gave birth to his son Chris during LLB from UWI Cave Hill. He and her husband live in Trinidad. It is a leading political figure and symbol of the Indian heritage in the Caribbean.
