The Indian Communist Party (Marxist) condemned the claim that an individual in the Ariyalur region was protesting against the rape of the public road, as well as officials as well as the general people.
In a statement, CPI (M) state secretary P. Shahanmugam condemned the police attack and said that several people were injured as a protest as stones were thrown. He wanted everyone to be released.
“Instead of solving the demands of the police personnel, the attack on the rape by giving hand in hand instead of solving the demands of the people, the attack on reasonable demands, is unacceptable in any way,” he said.
The Minister called for appropriate transactions by the Revenue Department for public use for public use. Mr. Shahanmugam called on the state government to sue against the attack of protesters and police staff who were detained.
