LSG Post 164/8 as Gujarat Titans Strike Back with Prasidh Krishna’s Four-Wicket Haul

Lucknow Super Giants posted a competitive total of 164/8 in 20 overs against Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.

Despite a strong start and useful contributions throughout the innings – including 30 from Aiden Markram and a quick 18 from skipper Rishabh Pant – LSG lost momentum in the middle overs as wickets fell at regular intervals.

The pick of the bowlers was Prasidh Krishna, who bowled a magnificent spell of 4/28, constantly breaking partnerships and applying pressure in the middle and inflicting death overs. He was also well supported by Mohammed Siraj and Ashok Sharma, who also contributed important wickets.

Late acts from George Linde and low-order innings from Mohammed Shami and Avesh Khan propelled LSG to a respectable finish, but GT’s disciplined bowling ensured the score never completely escaped control.

Gujarat Titans now begin the chase needing 165 for victory in what promises to be a competitive second innings.
