Luxury carmaker Ferrari beats third-quarter profit expectations

luxury car manufacturer Ferrari It reported stronger-than-expected third-quarter profit on Tuesday, with net revenues up more than 7% from the same period last year.

Maranello, Italy-based sports car manufacturer, announced a net profit of 382 million euros ($439.5 million) in the July-September period; This reflects an increase of approximately 2% compared to the same period last year.

Analysts had expected first-quarter net profit of 367.33 million euros, according to a consensus compiled by LSEG.

“We continue to move forward on our development path with conviction and strong visibility,” Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna said in a statement. he said.

“On Capital Markets Day, we set a clear trajectory in line with the long-term interests of our brand and laid the groundwork for sustainable growth towards 2030,” he added.

Ferrari recently had its worst trading day ever after its 2030 forecast fell short of analyst expectations.

The firm’s share price closed at 354 euros on October 9, down 15.4%. This marked the automaker’s steepest daily loss since it went public on the Milan stock exchange in early 2016.
