The city police confirmed that a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a two -vehicle M20 accident.

One spokesman said: “City police were invited to the two -vehicle collision report in A227 Overbridge near Wrotham at 18.17 at 18.17.

“Then a tractor fell to the central reservation between the second and three of the M20.

“City police are currently attending the stage with the city fire and rescue service and South East Coast ambulance service where a man is being hospitalized with serious injuries.

He continued: “Emergency services are closed in both M20 and A227 scenes while participating in the event. Drivers are advised to use as much alternative routes as possible.”
