Motorists planning to cross the motorway have been urged to “plan their journey” due to traffic congestion for up to three kilometres.

National Highways noted: “Delays in excess of 45 minutes, approximately 3 miles of traffic congestion approaching closure.

“If this closure affects your planned route, please allow extra travel time. Plan ahead, you may want to reroute or even delay your journey.”
