M25 traffic: Cars face delays on motorway as vehicle bursts into flames near London | UK | News

M25 motorists are facing delays following a vehicle fire in Essex on Thursday evening. The incident occurred during a clockwise traffic stop between J27 and J28. Two National Highway patrol cars are on the scene along with the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.

National Highways said: “NEW INCIDENT. #M25 clockwise between J27 (#M11) and J28 (#A12) Essex. TRAFFIC STOPPED. Due to a car fire. @ECFRS are on scene with 2 of our patrols.” While all lanes remain open, approximately three miles of traffic congestion and 30-minute delays remain.
