M25 traffic: Chaos as massive fire sees smoke cover motorway | UK | News

M25 drivers, firefighters struggled with a big fire, while this evening, the violent rush time was faced with delays.

Pictures show flames, roasted soil and smoke smoke meters from the dense highway between J26 A121 (Waltham Abbey) and J25 A10 Great Cambridge Road (Enfield).

There were big queues while fighting 70 firefighters. The traffic was held at 4.40 and caused M11 to Hugh tail ridges.

The drivers were called to guide clearly when possible. The traffic has returned to normal around 5.50.
