M3 traffic LIVE: Chaos on major motorway after horror two-lorry crash – long delays | UK | News

Long queues have formed following a serious accident involving two trucks on a major highway on Thursday morning. The eastbound M3 in Surrey was closed between J3 Bagshot Junction and J2 Thorpe Junction on Thursday, March 19, bringing traffic to a standstill.

Following the incident, one of the trucks hit the ramp, and the fuel tank of the other one exploded, causing a significant amount of diesel to spill onto the highway. National Highways said Surrey Police, Surrey Fire and Rescue, South East Coast Ambulance Service and traffic officers and contractors were at the scene.
