The M606 was closed in both directions and drivers were warned of 20-minute delays. The closure followed an accident on the highway.

The accident involved a single car hitting the central reservation barrier, knocking a lamp post onto the road. National Highways said of X: “The M606 near Bradford is closed – northbound between J1 and J3 and southbound J2-J1.” West Yorkshire Police and National Highways Traffic Officers are at the scene and directing traffic.
