M66 traffic live: Serious crash leaves major motorway closed | UK | News

The M66 near Bury was closed in both directions following a horror crash late on Sunday night.

Emergency services arrived at the scene at around 22.30 after reports of a serious incident on the main route.

Police, paramedics and fire crews rushed to the area, blocking traffic from J3 to M60 for Pilsworth and J4 for Simister Island as they tried to manage the aftermath of the collision.
