“Maa, Maati, Manush no longer safe in Bengal”: Amit Shah slams Mamata Banerjee over misgovernance

Addressing the BJP Karyakarta Sammelan in North 24 Parganas, Shah criticized the Mamata government for the deteriorating law and order situation, extortion and coercive control exercised by her group and infiltrators in West Bengal and their impact on national security and electoral integrity.
“With Mamata Didi’s government, which came to power with the slogan ‘Ma, Mati, Manush’, today all three (Ma, Mati and Manush) are insecure. Maa is insecure; there is no solid guarantee for women’s safety. Manush is unhappy with Mamata’s union and Mati has been swallowed by spies,” Amit Shah said.
Drawing parallels with the Ramayana, Shah said that Banerjee should be prepared for defeat, just as he believed that Ravana was invincible, and claimed that the BJP’s vote share in the state would exceed 50 percent and the party would form the next government with a large majority.
“Even Ravana thought the same thing when Lord Shri Ram built Ram Setu; who can defeat me in this world? Mamata ji, be careful this time, BJP’s vote share will now be more than 50% and our government will be formed with a huge majority,” Amit Shah said.
On the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, Amit Shah said that on one hand, the government decided to celebrate the event, but on the other hand, Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress opposed Vande Mataram due to appeasement policies and vote bank concerns. He said that the West Bengal Chief Minister is not against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he is against the identity of Bengal and the pride of India.
“This year is the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram… Prime Minister Modi government has decided to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram across the country… But look at the irony. When Vande Mataram, which is of Bengali origin and composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, was debated in Parliament, Mamata Banerjee’s MPs opposed the debate… Can the country of Bengal tolerate this opposition to Vande Mataram?… We must get this message. Amit Shah in Bengal “I announce to every single person, every voter, every citizen that Mamata Banerjee and TMC are opposing Vande Mataram for the sake of vote bank politics and to appease the infiltrators,” he said.
“By opposing Vande Mataram, Mamata Banerjee is not opposing Narendra Modi, but she is opposing Bengali identity and India’s pride… I appeal to the people of Bengal to completely dismantle the TMC, which opposes Bengali identity, in the coming elections and bring a government of patriots here,” Shah said.
