In a statement published late on Tuesday, the French President’s office returned to Netanyahu’s claim. “In September, France’s decision to recognize the Palestinian state in France is behind the anti -Semitic increase in violence, wrong, disgusting and will not remain unanswered,” he said. “The current period requires seriousness and responsibility, not generalization and manipulation.”

The relations between the two leaders since July, when Macron announced that France would be the first major Western power to recognize a Palestinian state at the UN general assembly of France, in the hope of bringing peace to the region.

At that time, Netanyahu, who was requested by the International Criminal Court on the allegations of war crimes in Gaza, criticized the decision by saying that France was “rewarding terror”. “Under these circumstances, a Palestinian state will be a launching ramp to destroy Israel – not to live in peace.”

The movement means that France will participate in the UN group (at least 145 of 193).

The tensions between Israel and its traditional allies are a movement that reveals similar signals from Macron’s promise to recognize a Palestinian state in recent weeks.

This week, Netanyahu said that on Tuesday, Netanyahu said that the Prime Minister of Australia was a weak politician who betrayed Israel on Tuesday, after sending a letter accusing an accusation of fueling anti -Semitism with the decision to recognize the Palestinian state.
