MAGA-Coded CBS Anchor’s Historic Ratings Disaster Exposed

New ratings data has revealed just how poorly the CBS Evening News has performed under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss. CBS Evening News has been struggling to get a foothold since it relaunched in January with new anchor Tony Dokoupil. By the end of the first quarter this weekend, the newscast is on track for its lowest-rated first quarter this century, both in total viewers and across the critical demographic of 25-54, according to Status report based on Nielsen’s preliminary ratings. The program currently averages 4.3 million viewers; Ratings in the 25-54 demographic were down 18 percent to just 541,000 viewers.
