‘MAGA Thought They Voted to End’ This — ‘Boy Were We Wrong’
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) Spending his final days before leaving Congress overturned President Donald Trump’s decision to strike Venezuela.
Inside A post to X on SaturdayGreene lashed out at the administration, justifying the move on the grounds that they wanted to fight narco-terrorism.
“I have served on the Homeland Security Committee for the past three years,” Greene wrote. “I am 100% in favor of creating strong, secure borders and preventing narco terrorists and cartels from smuggling deadly drugs and people into America. Fentanyl is responsible for more than 70% of drug overdose deaths in the United States, and fentanyl comes from Mexican cartels made with chemical precursors from China and traded along the U.S. Mexican border. Mexican cartels are primarily and overwhelmingly responsible for killing Americans with deadly drugs. If U.S. military action in Venezuela and if regime change is truly about saving American lives” So why hasn’t the Trump administration taken action against the Mexican cartels? And if prosecuting narco terrorists is a high priority, then why did President Trump pardon former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, who was convicted of smuggling hundreds of tons of cocaine into the United States and sentenced to 45 years in prison?
The next obvious observation is that the removal of Maduro is a clear move for control of Venezuelan oil resources, which will ensure stability in the next obvious war of regime change in Iran.
And of course, why is it okay for America to militarily invade, bomb, and arrest a foreign leader, but it’s bad for Russia because it invaded Ukraine, and bad for China for attacking Taiwan? Is it okay if just us do it? (I do not support Russia or China)
In a later post, the congressman floated the idea of overthrowing the nation’s president: Nicolas Madurothrough military action.

And in a post published after Trump announced that the United States would govern Venezuela, Greene expressed her disgust with a face covering emoji.
