Meghan Markle will have to ‘bear the brunt’ of sad Archie fact | Royal | News

Meghan Markle may one day bear the “burden” of what could be a “sad” situation for her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, a royal commentator has suggested. Despite being sixth and seventh in line to the throne, the two Sussex boys have spent almost no time in the UK.
Despite concerns about privacy and security, Prince Harry has made it clear that he wants his children to understand their heritage and see the lifestyle they grew up with. An insider later said royal writer Tom Quinn: “Meghan misses aspects of life in the UK and worries that her children will blame her if they never get to see their cousins and feel they have been deprived of what could have been an enjoyable and meaningful existence in the UK as adults.”
It’s a possibility that former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond described as a “legitimate point”. To talk MirrorMs Bond said: “Children grow up and are innately curious about their heritage and history… and when your legacy is one of the most famous families in the world, it will no doubt seem quite strange and perhaps sad that you hardly know or remember them.
“Imagine 15-year-old Archie telling his friends: ‘My grandfather is/was King! My uncle is/will be King, too.’ But he didn’t know or meet them much. “How sad… and Meghan will have to bear the brunt of responsibility for this.”
Although Archie and Lilibet had spent little time in the UK since their father’s last visit, he was very excited about his father’s future.
During an interview while traveling to Ukraine after spending time in England, Harry told The Guardian: “Yes, I’ve enjoyed this week. I’ve always loved the UK and always will. It’s been nice to reconnect with causes I’m passionate about. I’ve been able to spend some time with people I’ve known for a long time. That’s hard to do from a distance.”
During his solo visit, Harry was also able to make time to visit his father, King Charles, at Clarence House in London on September 10. Harry also said he could be one step closer to bringing Archie and Lilibet back to England after revealing his true feelings about England.
The young people last visited the UK in June 2022 to celebrate the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Asked if he would bring his children to the UK, Harry said: “Yes I would. This week has definitely brought that closer.”
