On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the Maharashtra government announced that Warkaris (Lord Vithal dedicated) will provide old Gratia aid to the next relative in case of an annual death of Pandhadhashi Wari pilgrimage.

The announcement was made by a government decision (Gr) given by the Revenue and Forest Department within the scope of ‘Vitthal Rakhuma Warkari Yojana – 2025’, and aimed to bring financial aid to a spiritual journey spiritually or through private or public transport.

Disability and hospitalization assistance

According to Gr, Warkaris, which suffers from 40 to 60% of the injury during Wari during Wari, is suitable for 74,000 CRO, while those who exceed 60% of the disability will receive 2.5 lakh.

The state will also provide medical assistance for hospitalization – accepted for more than a week, Warkaris will be suitable for 16,000 cro and will take 5,400 La for those who are hospitalized for less than a week.

The program will be in force for events that occurred during the Wari period between June 16 – July 10, 2025, and will include the dedicated dedication to Shri Kshetra Pandharpur, a leading temple town in the Solapur Region, known for the respect of Lord Vithal and Goddess Rakhumai.

Application Process and Verification

In order to request financial assistance, the relevant Warkari or heir must submit an application to the regional collector with a certificate confirming the participation of a person given by the collection to the Ashadhi Wari – 2025. Gr said that all collections are directed to verify such allegations and to guide the certificates accordingly.

After examining the certificate of the regional collectors, the regional collectors were authorized to verify and approve the applications with the death or medical documents confirming the mistake.

Following the end of Wari on July 10, all regional collectors are required to submit a comprehensive report that details the aid provided in their judicial regions until July 30, 2025.
