Main accused in Uttarakhand SSSC question paper leak case arrested

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Police arrested Khalid Malik, who was alleged to be the leakage of three pages of the UTTARAKHHAND SUBorate Services Election Commission (UKSSSC) exam.
Prime Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reiterated that those who participated in the wrong practices will not survive under any circumstances.

Police said that Khalid, who appeared as a candidate in the exam, was arrested from the Laksar region of Haridwar. Previously, the police, Khalid’s sister Sabia (35), who was another defendant in the case, arrested. Khalid has been running for three days.
Haridwar Police Senior Inspector (SSP) Pramod Singh Debal said that the dehradun police have been detained for more investigations since the registration of the case to Dehradun.

Sabia said that he sent these questions to Suman, an assistant professor at Tahri’s phone, and received the answers from him. Baluni, “Sabia sent the question paper photo to Suman and the exam took the answers to help him in the exam. Therefore, he was arrested considering the role in the case.” He said.
He also stated that during Suman’s interrogation, Khalid’s other sister Hina’s role was suspicious and that the investigation continued.
In the Raipur Police Station of Dehradun, four names were named under the relevant departments of the Uttarakhand Competition Examination (Prevention and Control of Unfair Vehicles in Recruitment) and a lawsuit against unidentified persons.
Baluni, the examination center was inspected on Monday and the manager, examination room inspector and Jammer’i said that the founders were well questioned.
The screenshots of the three -page question paper for the graduate competitive exam by the Commission on September 21, became viral on social media and shortly after the start of the exam.
Commission President Ganesh Singh Martolia, despite being established in the exam centers, expressed shock about how the question paper was leaked. After the turmoil about this incident, the commission filed a complaint to the dehradun police and demanded a detailed investigation. Dehradun SSP Ajay Singh founded a special investigation team (SIT) to investigate the issue.
