Parking at Secunderabad Station available in underground at Platform 10; temporarily suspended at Platform 1

South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that adequate parking facilities for four-wheelers and two-wheelers are available in the underground basement of Platform No. 10 of Secunderabad railway station for passengers boarding trains.

Parking tariffs are as follows: Four-wheelers: ₹40 for the first two hours or part thereof; ₹20 for each subsequent hour or part thereof. Motorcycles/Scooters: ₹25 for first two hours or part thereof; ₹10 for each subsequent hour or part thereof. Bikes: ₹5 for the first two hours or part thereof; ₹2 for each subsequent hour or part thereof. Tariff details were prominently displayed at important points within the park area to raise public awareness.

An access control system has been activated to prevent unauthorized parking and vehicle blocking in the circulation area. In addition, clear directional signs, public address announcements and promotional boards were placed at important points throughout the Station to guide passengers.

Parking on Platform No. 1 is temporarily suspended

However, due to ongoing station redevelopment works, parking at Platform No. 1 has been temporarily suspended. Only pick-up and drop-off services are allowed in this area. According to the press release, passengers entering the area will be allowed to pick up and drop off passengers free of charge for up to 15 minutes, and excess accommodation fees will be deducted from vehicles not parked in the designated parking lot beyond this period.
