Ukrainian officials said Moscow sent 653 drones and 51 missiles across Ukraine, injuring eight people.

Zelenskyy said on Saturday that he had an “important phone call” with American officials who were involved in talks with the Ukrainian delegation in Miami.

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff on Friday shared a summary of the talks involving President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The statement said the talks were “constructive discussions on advancing a credible path towards a lasting and just peace in Ukraine.”

“The American and Ukrainian parties underlined that an end to the war and a ceasefire and credible steps to reduce tensions are necessary to prevent renewed aggression and enable Ukraine’s comprehensive redevelopment plan, designed to make the country stronger and more prosperous than before the war.”
