Major supermarket recalls own-brand hummus over deadly E.coli fears

Sinsbury’s has published a recall for two types of branded humus through the fears they may contain.

Supermarket, with the date of September 13, 315G JS Classic Houmous and the 200G packages of 14 September JS Lemon & Coriander Houmous’u recalls as a precautionary measure.

The Food Standards Agency confirmed that affected parties may contain E.Coli (Stec) producing Shiga toxin.

Customers are asked not to consume the products and to return it to any Sainsbury branch for a complete repayment.

Sinsbury’s took the caution to remembering JS Classic Houmous and JS Lemon & Coriander Houmous.
