Man, 21, stabbed to death at popular UK viewpoint as police launch murder probe | UK | News

Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at the viewpoint at 6.41pm on Tuesday, April 7.

Paramedic teams including an advanced paramedic practitioner, incident response officers and London Air Ambulance all attended the scene.

Inspector Matt Cox said: “This is a completely tragic incident and our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones.

“I would like to reassure the local community that the investigation is continuing apace and there will be an increased police presence in the area as we carry out inquiries.

“I will appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information that could help my officers come forward.”

“We sent a number of resources to the scene including ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, incident response officers and deployed crews from the London Air Ambulance.

“Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of our teams, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. One patient was taken to a larger trauma center.”
