Man, 27, drowns while swimming in popular beauty spot in Nuneaton

A 27 -year -old man died after he disappeared under water at a popular swimming point of beauty.

Warwickshire police said Wojciech Berlan drowned after swimming at Ensor’s Pool in Nuneaton on Sunday.

Force, emergency services participated in the scene, he said.

He went under his swim and hadn’t reappeared for more than five minutes. He was rescued from the water and then died at 13:30.

Police said the next relative was informed and the police investigated the incident on behalf of the coronary.

Warwickshire police said in a statement: “We are about to report that 27 -year -old Wojciech Berlan from Redditch died after drowning in the Ensor pool in Nuneaton.

“The next relative has been informed now. Emercency Services answered that on August 17, at 12.24 at 12.24, a man disappeared under water while swimming and did not confront for more than five minutes.

“After being saved from water, Wojciech died at 13:30.

“Our thoughts are currently with Wojciech’s family. Police continues to investigate on behalf of Coroner.”
