A second man in his 20s, believed to be a friend of Finbar, also suffered stab wounds and was found nearby by police.
It was learned that the person was taken to the hospital and his life was not in danger.
At the time of the violence, the park was filled with families and friends enjoying unseasonably warm weather following the Easter weekend.
Police are asking for eyewitnesses or anyone with images or information regarding the incident to call 6448/07Apr. He wants them to contact him using his reference.
Speaking to the Daily Mail this week, Finbar’s father said: ‘He was a bit of a cool 21-year-old kid who loved films and making films. He didn’t drink, didn’t smoke, didn’t go out.
‘He would stay at home six nights a week and edit his films. He wanted to follow in his (grandfather’s) footsteps and become a cameraman.
‘He recently made a video for Vivienne Westwood’s son, Joseph Corre.
‘We were just about to start a company together… he was going to do a showreel with me today. And now he’s dead.’
This is breaking news. More to follow.
