After his death, Mrs. Dunne married John Dunne, a widow from Ireland, who worked as a night watchman in Bristol. He died about six years before the murder.

Speaking about Mrs. Dunne’s family: “The crime has not been solved and you stayed for a long time, you have brought together your pain.” He said.

After he sentenced Headley to imprisonment for at least 20 years, the judge said to him: “You will never be released, you will die in prison.”
