Man Arrested for Secretly Filming Woman Bathing in Chennai

A man was arrested on Friday for allegedly filming a woman while she was taking bath at a rented house in Chennai’s Peravallur area. According to the police, 11 women were living in the house on rent.

One of the women noticed a man recording her through the window with his cell phone around midnight on Thursday. After the woman raised the alarm, the suspect fled the scene.

Following the victim’s complaint, Peravallur police launched an investigation into the incident. The accused has been identified as Satyaraj, a native of Thiruvidan in Chengalpattu district. He was arrested on Friday and his mobile phone was seized.

The suspect, who was later referred to the courthouse, was arrested and sent to prison.
