Man bites cop after multiple crashes on the Great Western Highway

A man was arrested after a high -octane police chase on a large highway, causing more than one accident and biting an out -of -duty officer.
This morning, the 29 -year -old boy hit several cars along the large Western motorway in the Blue Mountains region, damaged multiple vehicles and destroyed his Hyundai SUV.
Around 10:40, the driver collided with a Honda SUV near Hazelbrook before accelerating the east along the highway.
Shortly thereafter, the police were called for a second accident on the Great Western Motorway near Glenbrook, where Hyundai entered a BMW SUV.
The Hyundai driver was allegedly escaped from the pedestrian pedestrian incident, but was chased by a police officer in charge and was detained.

The police claimed that the 29 -year -old child resisted to be arrested and bite the off -hand officer.
NSW medical officers treated both the officer and the arrested driver, and was taken to the Nepean hospital for further evaluation under the 29 -year -old police officer.
