Man charged with murder of Finbar Sullivan in Primrose Hill | UK news

A man has been charged with murder after a 21-year-old was fatally stabbed in north London, police said.
Finbar Sullivan died on Tuesday, April 7, following an alleged attack in Primrose Hill. On Sunday, 27-year-old Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu was charged with murder.
The Metropolitan Police said the 27-year-old, who was arrested on Friday, will appear at Stratford magistrates’ court on Monday. A 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was released without further action, police said.
Filmmaking student Sullivan, 21, was stabbed to death at a viewing point in Primrose Hill in the early hours of Tuesday evening. His father, Christopher Sullivan, 65, had previously said he went to the area to use the new camera he bought for his son’s birthday.
“This is the worst tragedy I can imagine,” he told the Daily Mail. “I’m so heartbroken I can’t believe it. He was such a beautiful, sweet, outgoing, loving kid. He was just a really nice person.”
Sullivan said his son aspires to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, cameraman Michael Seresin, who worked on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Rambo III.
Officers are urging anyone who may have relevant information to upload it to the Met’s online major incident portal or call 101 on 6448/07Apr. invites you to give your reference.
