Man in 30s dies in M20 multi-vehicle crash | UK | News

A man was killed and another driver was taken to hospital in a multi-vehicle crash on the M20. The man, in his 30s, was driving a black Nissan Qashai on the M20 motorway towards London and was involved in the incident with two trucks.

The accident occurred on Tuesday morning, November 25, and the driver was confirmed dead at the scene. City Live reports. Kent Police said the incident involved a white Mercedes truck, a black Nissan Qashqai and a white Scania articulated truck between junction nine and eight.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “The vehicles collided at 8.27am on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Emergency services attended the scene and the driver of the Nissan, aged in his 30s, was confirmed dead at the scene. Relatives have been notified.”

The driver of the seriously injured Mercedes truck was taken to a hospital in London by air ambulance and received treatment. Kent Police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident to come forward with information.

The highway remained closed for hours as the collision triggered a major emergency response involving police, fire and ambulance crews, as well as an air ambulance. The M20 remained closed until 11.50pm on Tuesday, according to National Highways.

Officers from Kent Police’s serious collision investigation unit are investigating and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the vehicles before the collision to contact them.
