Man in his 70s is arrested after mobility scooter driver ‘punched in the head’

A retirement was arrested after allegedly punched the head of the scooter driver.
Police received a serious attack report on the Whiteleas Way Döner Junction in South Shields just before 15:30 on Saturday.
Mobility between a man who uses Nissan Micra and another man in his 60s is believed to last a scooter.
It was claimed that the man in Micra went out and punched the victim’s head and neck, which caused him to fall to the ground.

He continued serious head injuries and was taken to the hospital where he was in a critical situation.
Police arrested a man in his 70s on suspicion of causing severe physical damage.
