Man Rescued After Surviving 20 Days Lost in Sierra National Forest

A man’s half-day trip into the woods turned into a three-week nightmare that left him fighting for his life. Ron Dailey, 65, was on a hunting trip alone in the Sierra National Forest. He said he took the wrong route and his truck couldn’t make it up the hill, then a storm covered his truck with a foot of snow. Unknown to Dailey, authorities were looking for him. After 20 grueling days, he says he realized he needed to get out. Nine hours later he encountered three hunters.
