Man shot dead after assaulting woman in Yarra Junction

On Wednesday night, a man was shot and killed by the police after he was invited to an incident in Yarra Junction.

Police, a man at 17.30 at a woman attacking a woman after reporting that civil servants were called to an address on the Warburton Motorway, he said.

“Two police officers joined the address and observed a man who attacked a woman,” the police said in a statement, which was published late on Wednesday.
