Police have released audio of a chilling 999 call a man made moments after shaking his girlfriend’s five-month-old son to death.

Thomas Morgan, 29, killed baby Jensen-Lee Dougal at the family home in Swansea in March 2024, after becoming angry after an argument with his ex-girlfriend.

Audio of the dispatch call released by South Wales Police on Wednesday (February 25) shows Morgan speaking to an operator shortly after carrying out the violent attack on Jensen-Lee, which left him suffering serious injuries.

“Like he was taking deep breaths here or there, but he wasn’t, I don’t know what he’s doing right now, there’s someone doing CPR on him,” he told the operator.

Morgan, 29, of Players Avenue, Clydach, Gorseinon, was sentenced to 19 years in prison and one count of GBH after being found guilty of murder on February 10.
