San Juan County, Utah (ABC4) – Two hurricanes touched in Saturday afternoon Southeast Utah’s San Juan County.

A approved hurricane was located seven miles northeast of Montezuma Creek, or Blanding, 22 miles southeast of Utah. This hurricane storm spread to the rural areas of San Juan District, including the Hovenweep National Monument and was approved by law enforcement officers in the region.
Tornado followed the Northeast to Colorado, while the warning was extended to 14:00. The photos shared by ABC4 audience Allyen Allen show that San Juan district watches storms in non -populated areas. Emergency management showed that it was full of an inch.

“Flying remains will be dangerous for those caught without shelter, NWs said. “Mobile houses will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.”
Shortly after the first, a second hurricane touched in the northeastern part of San Juan County, triggered by this hurricane radar in 13:41, and Montcecello occurred about 16 miles of Utah. This hurricane was closer to the Utah/Colorado State line and moved to Southwest Colorado shorter than 14:00
Both of these hurricanes were founded in Utah, touched the ground, and followed up to Colorado on the northeastern state line. These storms occurred on Saturday morning as a large, slow -level upper -level low in the northeast on Utah and Wyoming. The Four Corners region is rich in moisture in the last few days, Cape or “convective potential energy” increasing on Saturday afternoon and there is plenty of wind cuts and cleaning sky. The values of higher cloaks, greater imbalance and heavy rain, damage wind, and severe storms that are large full of damage are higher.

Utah takes about two hurricane average per year and usually see them in rural areas. These two hurricanes had the second and third hurricanes of 2025. One on July 12 hurricane Utah was developed in Deer Creek forest fire near La Sal. Fire-Nado was in a place for about 12 minutes and did not move much-when it was fixed. The houses and additional buildings in the region continued a mixture of fire and wind damage. Wind damage carried out by the remaining structures that were not burned by fires caused the grade of EF-2 to the hurricane. The residents of the housing were released before the hurricane and the injury was not continued by the fire personnel.
