Mandya Medical College to be upgraded, hospital to get more beds: Minister

Mandya Region N. Cheluvarayaswamy responsible for the Minister on Thursday, said the Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMs) will be raised by additional beds and financing for expansion and renovation.
In Bengaluru, Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil and Minister of Health Dinesh Gundu Rao were talking about the development of the MIMs and his hospital. Both ministers told Mr. Cheluvarayaswamy that all the necessary support for the development of the Medical College will be provided.
Cheluvarayaswamy, currently a 400 -bed hospital, although more than 800 patients a day treatment and 850 -bed facility should be upgraded, he said.
Responding to this, the Minister of Medicine Education directed the authorities to renew environmental cleaning and submit an offer to raise the first step to a 500 -bed hospital.
Authorities were also directed to prepare a detailed project report covering the construction and renewal of emergency and small surgical units, cancer treatment unit, laundry facilities and additional wards.
Health Minister Dinesh Gundi Rao also instructed the authorities to raise seven Taluk hospitals in the Mandya Region and the primary health centers.
Mlas Ramesh Bandisiddegowda, Ravikumar Ganiga, Darshan Puttannaiah, Uday Gowda, MLC Madhu Madegowda and others attended the meeting and shared their views on the development of the university. Ministers, Mandya Commissary Deputy Kumar directed the implementation of decisions to control the implementation of the decisions.
Mohammad Mohsin, Chief Secretary (Health) Harsh Gupta and other officials were present.
